eBay asking to call CS when trying to list??
 

New stealth account 2.5months old..Going strong... so far. List mostly computer stuff. Went to go list an item and got it with a screen to verify my stealth info and click ok.....of course I clicked ok then ebays says we cant verify your info please call CS to continue listing....However the account is still going and none of the current auctions are killed.

Anyone ever ran into this? I just got a newer sealth account killed because ebay suspended that account asking me to call in and verify some info and since that account was stealth I couldnt pass the personal questions:(

Will this go away after I get some more feedback from pending shipments? What kind of questions will they ask? :(

sounds like you simply hit your monthly selling limit

my limit is 10/1000 and I still have like 300$ left this month......this got me thinking, now i dont know if this is it but everyone says not to clear your cookies...the computer i use has a chache problem that after a reboot it doesnt remember anything like history passwords internet settings etc......for the past 3 weeks ive since created 2 new stealth accounts which means two new user accounts on the pc, so im no longer logged in 24/7 into this one account like i was....
So maybe having this problem flagged this?

im just wondering if this account is lost or if I back off and gain some feedback or sell my current items this will go away?

Was it the same computer as always? Is your pp verified?

You say you have $300 remaining but how many items are remaining. They give you a item and monetary limit every month.

I have 3 items remaining.....i decided to call them, and yes it was because I hit my limits in that cat. :) I even tested and listed something else and it went through. oh well, guess i have to wait till next month.....i hit cat limits before and it flat out said your limit was hit, i dont know why this was any diff..

yes. Its probably a category issue or selling limit thing.
i would let account cool off till november and go from there.

repeatedly trying to list when they want info is a red flag. open 2-3 new accounts this weekend and keep that buffer.

let it cool off. It will probably be more productive to let it rest a while then list low risk items fop a couple months.

Same thing has happened to 2 of my accounts. I either change the particular category or let it sit a while.

hrm....i was gonna list some other things...no more then 25$...so everyone thinks I should just let it cool till nov?

Does it reset after a month? I was reading about the limits on ebay and it says if I read it right it said it only raises category limits after confirming identity..

Resets after a month - unless your account gets canned.
