| | Yes or No? It's possible to get a limit increase before 90 days I've seen some people basically say yes, while other things have made me think otherwise.
So..Yes or no? Is a limit increase possible before 90 days? Or is it absolutely not...
Because I'm thinking about calling in, with receipts that I have no problem faxing to them, that show the prices of the items I want to sell (which I'd need a limit raise to sell them)
My account would have 10-20 seller feedbacks when I call, but wouldn't be anywhere near 90 days old yet. |
| they_screwed_me_too | 10-20-2012 01:31 PM | absolutely YES |

Any more people to back this up? :typing: |
| Elijah | 10-20-2012 03:13 PM | You can do it right away by clicking "request higher selling limits" and linking you confirmed bank account in most countries.
Those in the US don't have that privilege.
In Canada, you do... at least the option was there a week ago when I made an account on ebay.ca |
Yeah but they just lowered those limits after you confirm. From $5,000 all the way down to $2,000. :tears::smash: |
| BigCJ | 10-20-2012 03:48 PM | 100% yes....just happened t a bunch of us over the past month for a bunch of us from 10/500 to 10/1000 :peace: |
| Gamefreak | 10-20-2012 03:58 PM | Yes, I got my limit raised twice within 90 days |
| slim jim | 10-20-2012 05:11 PM | yes same here CJ, all my 10/500 accounts turned into 10/1000 automatically before the 90 days! |
| jojo2012 | 10-20-2012 10:26 PM | me to, all 10/500 went to 10/1000. Even those only 1 week old or older with no listings or sales. I have however had limits raised with 2-5 feed back scores and under $ 50.00 in sales in under 90 days. I have opened 3 acounts out of 25 that have no limits displayed at all. (i Treat Those Like Gold) So sometimes you get lucky. I have also have pay pal stop all holds in under 90 days. |

I'm wondering about calling eBay for raised limits though. I'm currently at $2,000 just from confirming banking account & attaching it. But I want limits around $5,000 or preferably $6,000 if I call and offer to fax them receipts of a few items I wanna sell that total to that amount. |
| stanislav | 10-21-2012 04:45 PM | I used to get 100/5000 on Canadian accounts but no more. I get only 30/2000$ and it's hurting my business. I am sure there is a way to get 100/5000 but I don't know about it. Someone said if you create a business account but I never confirmed it. it's terrible ... |

| stanislav | 10-21-2012 05:49 PM | Yeah it's terribile. I wouldn't worry as much if we had more banks here in Canada. I guess it's time to take over USA banks. America here I come! |

America here I come! | There are PLENTY of banks in Canada, you obviously are not looking hard enough if you think otherwise. Word of advise, don't treat US banks the same way as Canadian banks. They can and will shut you down easily and possibly even hold your money if they wanted to as opposed to how Canadian banks work, especially if you're not a US citizen. |
BiN$RY knows - they have certain US laws and policies that can be enforced.
On the other hand, if you operate well and you have proof of Canadian citizenship, there are some nice US banks out there if you do your research.
But, a lot of Canadian options exist - true. |
| stanislav | 10-21-2012 09:52 PM | Thank you Binary and thank you RSOT. Both of you gave me great advice, my Canadian fellows :) |
| stanislav | 10-21-2012 09:53 PM | I know that you can open credit union bank but I wonder if they accept mismatched names. |
| BiN4RY | 10-21-2012 09:59 PM | Credit Unions works more or less the same thing as a bank when it comes to banking. Pretty much all banks in Canada are fine with mismatched names |

I have a Canadian Accounts seller that give eBay account 100/5000 brand new with 0 feedback. I don't know how can do it. |
Keep making accounts and you hit some juicy limits |
