i have to two ebay account. the first one i created to two month and the second one 1 month ago. the second one i waited 30 days before listing anything. i list my first item, a used video game, everything good. listed the second item, another used video game and them a ebay message come and said " please contact customer care, help us confirm your identity" i have link my paypal account with ebay to pay seller fee as i did with my first account. the address that i used is good. any help

Yes, this is normal for ebay on new accounts (even after the 30 days)

That was probably due to 2 things:

1) You listed a high risk item. (Even used, video games are considered high risk)
2) you listed 2 items without letting the first one sell. You have no history in sales and it caused a red flag on ebays system.

Solutions:

1) If you have the guts, call them with all the stealth info on hand and try to talk them into letting you sell on the account again/reinstate.
2) Start fresh and make new accounts.

thank you for your help. i guess i have to get a new account. i listed a used video game and it was good and them i listed another game. so, when selling high risk item, wait until the first sell and them sell other one. that is not going to work for me, most of the item that i have are high risk item such as, video game, video system, ipod and stuff like that. my best choose is to buy a ebay account with some feedback on it.

No problem.

you can still list the game, but you have to let one sell or end before you list another item on a new account. Once it sells/ends, you can usually list around 3-6 more items. If high risk, I would list around 3 more games.

You could buy an account that has feedback as you wait for the account selling the game to mature/sell the one item.

Either option will be a good bet.

thank again, i just going to get a another account. can i still used the paypal account from the video game account to used it with a new ebay account.

Not if you do not want to link accounts.

Be careful what you do or you will lose accounts.
