Went from $500 (new seller) to $5000 in 30 days :)
 

I just wanted to share my story with you since I was shocked about it.

I am a new seller on Ebay and went from 10 transactions $500 for my first month- to 100 transactions $5000. I was a bit shocked since I was under the assumption you had to wait 90 days until they did a review.

I think my success is because I was able to get 10 feedback in a month all positive (some from Half.com). I just asked on a note for feedback and put a big smiley face on the paper.

I used my real info, cause I have never had issues with Ebay. I only sold about $400 on Ebay and $600 on Half.com.

Also I had about 27 feedback from buying- so that might have made a difference too.

Ha...ok, MYSTERY SOLVED. Real info? All you have to do is answer 3 questions correctly and you get your 100/$5K...

I use real info as well, but only on Amazon, I can sell as much as I want, when I want without any problems, but the same can no longer be said for eBay.

I use Amzn more than eBay, cause I can sell more as well. Now I just need to figure out what else to sale on eBay lol

3-4 security questions they ask to prove your identity. Complete this and pass it, and you get 100/$5k immediately.

As soon as you make an account, there is a link you click to raise limits and it will take you to this page.

I was at 10/500 and somehow it went to 10/100 within a few days. I tried the ask for higher selling limits and they said they cannot verify me. That is funny because it is all legit info. Said thing is with 10 items you cannot get too far. I had 2 people not pay and that still counted toward my 10...no pay, no sale in my eyes so I should get those 2 back.

congrats i have been on 10/650sterling for past 2 months a bit cautious about requesting higher levels as im stealth so dont want to come a croppa??

That happened to me too, I was mad, mad. I really think also selling on half.com helped since they are both owned by eBay.

I also think the feedback was a factor. Just print out your packing slip, and write a nice note to them asking for feedback on their service. That worked for me.

You would have needed to provide an address that was in the records. For example if you recently moved, and provide your latest address, they may not be able to match you with any records. Therefore you would not get the limits increased and the questionaire would be gone.
