2 yr old Account....still has selling limits!!

Hi....i been reading around this forum for about three months and i kind of need advice for myself....

I have a 2 year old account, my personal one (not stealth) have been selling since March of this year, have 79 feedbacks, all positives 100%. anyways back then i was selling rosetta stone software (not counterfeift ones either) and suddenly got a message "you are never allowed to sell this product ever again.....I had no clue it wasnt allowed until i researched that night about it. So ended up with a copy right violation on it. Afterwards i sold hunger games hardcover books....didnt think about the limits on my account until september when i got into a better niche and i was like what? I canonly sell 100 items/$5000 a month? I thought it would had gone away because i been selling for well over 6 mths now? Besides my copyright violation got cleared....but i dont understand......7 mths later....100% feedback why am i still limited?

Sell up to your limit every month and your limits will increase fast.

The 79 feedback in 7 months is the answer.

You clearly are getting no where near selling 100 items per month. If you arent maximising the limits you've got, you dont need more - that's how ebay see it.

you said this account use real info... then you contact live help/call ebay asking to lift your limit..

Hi, I just recovered my password to one of my original accts.
It was made in 1998, so it's a 14 yr old acct.
I was afraid to use it for many years.
When I went to selling,it says
100/$5,000
So that's the most any of my accts has so far.
Btw, this acct has 572 fb. And most of that was selling.
I was trying to figure how they set the limits, ( possibly like a bank handing out credit lines).
Then,I thought maybe it's 100 fb,to each $1,000 of the limit?
I am feeling my way ,to see how it's calculated.
I am testing several accts, some in high risk categories, some generic like listing a plastic bowl.
I will let u guys know,in about a week,so maybe we will have an edge, and figure out their
System?
Good luck to all for now.

Go slow on the 1998 one and build it nicely - you have a gem on that one

Im going to leave my new one alone...let ebay think im only using it for buying... But im feeling like since my dsrs are high now (my selling acct)...and its on a business account along with a business paypal...maybe i should leave my selleracct alone until the 1st because it says in the dashboard that next month im a bronze powerseller.... Maybe itll increase automatically...it is a us acct.
