Debit or pre paid card??
 

Hi guys.

Just wondered why we are told to get a pre paid card to register with paypal.

When you sign up for a new bank account, they almost always give you a debit card for the account so should I not just use that instead of getting a new pre paid card from another company, or is there some reason I'm missing??

Because a prepaid can't be directly linked to you and a debit card can. At least that's my opinion on the matter.

Ah, of course, because your pre paid card can have an alternate name on it whereas your debit card from the bank will have your real name.

Quite obvious really, my mistake
