Default £650 sellers limit

I listed something last week and it sold for £280 and all was well (buy it now).

I've listed the same thing again and its induced a mental bidding war between to high feedbackers (I've added a little extra but never expected this).

Bids are currently £480...

So I've exceeded the £650 a month selling limit.

What will happen at close of auction? Will I be shot? Or worse? Banned...

Very 'newbie' question I know, but I've never done this before...

Wow, really?

Good to know.

I read someone saying that they may take it out of the next month's limit...

This is what EB officially say on this:

You'll see a red alert once you've reached your allowance, & you won't be able to sell more items in that month.

A sale last week would be in last month's limits. An auction that is still running will be included in November's selling allowance. Is this not the case?

I wasn't sure if they ran on calendar months or a 'four week' cycle. Because if you open a fresh account on 28th and sell straight away - it would be open to abuse to be able to sell again on 1st Nov...??

It's calender months.

Limits reset on the 1st.

As far as I'm aware, an auction that crosses over from one month to another actually gets included on both sets of limits. Which suits me, as I like to hit/go over as much as I can.
