Wait 30 days before selling?
 

They say that you should wait at least 30 days to start selling after creating an ebay account. What if the account is over 2 months old as a buyer account (never used) and was just made into a sellers account. Should I still wait the 30 days? I will only be selling low cost, used items.

I don't know who they is, but I have never heard that.

In my experience, start selling right away.

It's recommended in Stealth. It's not normal behaviour for an individual to open up an Ebay account and start selling lots of stuff off the bat. I for one did not do that with my first account. I had a buyer account only for years

I'd say it's more normal to list a few items straight away than to wait a month after registering.

i think it's more about what you list vs how fast you list. there is nothing suspicious about someone signing up for an ebay account and then selling a few household items

I wait the 30 days because for me most buyers hate to see that little "new person" sign on your name profile.

And yes it does say wait 30 days in the ebook. I fast read it the 1st time and I still remember that it says, wait 30 days to list anything.

Who is they??

Start selling asap.
