Exclamation eBay sales come to standstill!

eBay sales pretty much come to standstill. I believe this has nothing to do with economy. Yes economy is bad, very bad but this has more to do with eBay itself since just a few days ago I have had many pages views and a lot of bids on my listings. What is happening ???

If you have records from previous years, compare sales.

Sales fromHalloween to Thanksgiving Black Friday can be slow.

This has been a trend ( for me& my sales) for the past years.

I expect increases later this month.

Default Its True!

Everything is coming to a stand still.
For example, my items go out like candy with high bids but now I receive lesser views and lesser bids. This always happens this time of the year.

I think a huge reason for that is presidential election that just happened and we are heading towards Thanksgiving which is about being with family and love ones.
But after that get ready for sales to be at an all time high if you know how to market the item you sale, which is something im good at.

Remember Black Friday is coming and so is Christmas, everybody will be shopping

Ladies and Gentleman, it's not thanks giving, it's not presidential elections, it's not sandy, it's not the time of the year and it's not even the economy. Let's admit, something is wrong with eBay. I think many of long time sellers on eBay are still in denial about this issue. They cannot admit to themselves that eBay is broken. One day you get lots of sales, next day you get nothing, one day you get customers only from California, another day they are all from Canada. eBay has lost traffic and has lost it's ranking to Amazon. Amazon is on the 5th place, most visited site in US while eBay is on 7th and is going to be even lower. You should compare feedbacks between Amazon vs Ebay on Alexa.com You will be surprised what you see or not. eBay is either dying because they are unable to fix the mess they have started with their idiotic new search engine or they redirect traffic only to their top dogs.

It is interesting how far eBay is willing to go to conceal facts from their fee paying sellers as they prepare to implement Cassini.

Traffic reports deliberately broken, wild card searches discontinued, the ability to participate in Class Action Law Suits denied by a change to the user agreement...

All these changes made to accommodate and defend a new search engine which eBay admits will intentionally limit buyer choices. By deliberately obfuscating seller listings, eBay will be the gatekeeper who determines which listings are seen and which listings never see the light of day.

The next question is what new revenue shifting actions will eBay take when Cassini is fully implemented to artificially inflate their GMV in order to conceal what will be a significant decline in sales?

Picture the sellers as a little child running out into the middle of the street, eBay is the adult that sees us doing it, yet they just stand there watching us as a truck is heading down the street ready to run us over. The look, they see, but they don't really care. Spat.... we get ran over... ebay looks around...and says "oops i didn't see you sorry about that"

I used to work for eBay until 2010, you think its horrible selling on eBay? Try working for eBay its even more of a night-mere. To be completely honest with everyone, as an ex employee of eBay its nothing more then a bunch of mid 20's half wits and a bunch of other employees having a mid life crisis because they cannot make it to the top fast enough, this in return is bad for business which is clearly showing through the way things are being handled with the sellers and the selling platform in general.

eBay is simply very poorly managed and ran from inside out.

No complaints is going to change this till the place gets flushed out and cleaned.

END OF STORY.
You should read this one ... It's even better!
