Buyers and Combined Shipping...
Is it just me or do buyers really have no idea about shipping costs? I have an item that some buyers like to buy multiple ones of. I charge $15 for shipping (keep in mind that's from Japan to the US) for about 450 grams (1 pound). The post office obviously charges me per weight and I do offer a shipping fee of $8 for each additional item, which is nearly half.
Still, I get about 10-15 customers every day asking me why they need to pay the additional shipping fee if I can just ship it in the same package. One bought 10 of them (4.5 kilos, 10 pounds) and then told me to refund him the 9 shipping charges he "paid too much" since I can just send them all in the same box.
Sure I can send them in the same box, but the post office isn't going to tell me "oh you're shipping 10 pounds, not 1 pound, but its in the same box so we'll charge you for 1 pound only".
Anyways, just ranting. Its 8am and I'm still working :eek::rolleyes::D |
