Question eBay Store Question

Hi Everyone

I was thinking about opening an eBay Store but I was shocked when I checked the store fees.

So my question:

Is it worth it to have a store? Could I make more sales through my eBay store than through regular listings? I know the listing fee is great but the final value fee is a killer.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I always found it more profitable, but I listed hundreds of items a day. :/

I think it all depends on what you sell. I know of and have seen many sellers that only list in their store. Some as many as 20,000 store items. No auctions at all. They list XXX amount per day every day so 30 days a month they have store items closing all day long on ebay. I had one account like that. Everything was in the store except for 30 or so items that were mainly to bring buyers into the store.

If you think the store FVF's are bad check out what Amazon hits you for on a sale.

I mainly get a store to get the Sales Manager or whatever it's called. Much easier to manage your auctions.

HI:
I like the store, aS i get more sales, personally--plus the rapid relist i prefer-
i start with the $49 store, but i also have 2 ps accts that have anchor stores--but i get max exposure with them too...I have tested the sme items, and i get another $18-$30 more per item on my anchor stores..
