If youre "supposedly" a brand new seller--dont be chatting about dsrs/etc.. ask DUMB stuff-or be quiet---

NOW--if youre an older acct seller--just be POLITE and thank them for the help!

the account is 3 months old with positive 3 feedback, I just start selling non brand name items average price $8.00, I listed only a few items (about 9) than they asked me to verify the account, they provide 2 options : add a verified paypal account or verify the ebay account with a live help monkey, I have to go through the second option,

do you guys know what kind of questions they ask for verification?

I tried to act dumb and chat with them for over an hour and a half. They wouldn't budge on forcing me to become paypal verified first and link the paypal account. I acted so dumb too. They must have been so pissed. I was transfered from one rep to another at one point. Then, they finally stopped responding...

You gotta be paypal verified now :(

It is an automatic thing now. The first item you list on a new account they will ask you to verify your phone number. Once you try to list your 10th item, they will force you to become paypal verified. No more acceptions. I spoke to two ebay reps today about this.

Oh ya, I asked why I was permitted to list 9 items WITHOUT being paypal verified first. I was told many times that it was a "privilege" to be allowed to do this.

- A copy of your driver's license or other government issued ID with your name and address clearly visible
Please also include *one* of the following:
- A copy of a recent credit card statement (copy of the actual credit card is not acceptable)

As for iinvoice--can yo not get a small handwritten bill from a Flea market for a box of
misc items?

You started off selling household goods/small items--to gain fb right?
OR--you went right for the Vero items??

ebayhateluv, I don't sell vero, I only sell non branded products, average price $10, but I think this is the new ebay security ...
when you try to list your 10th item they ask you to link a verified paypal account or fax all the "Laundry List" to let you sell again.
