eBay shut down
 

I had e Bay shut down my 3 rd and newest stealth account this morning. Had a few cheap items on there to start. The message said I couldnt use the account until I verified ID with them.

I have two other stealth accounts that I am actively selling on and another two that are sitting in waiting.

I want to learn and not repeat my mistakes. I am pretty diligent with using fresh IP'S and I have a seperate user account for each e bay id.

The 2 things I think may have caused it are
1) I used the adress of a apartment complex
2) the new name my stealth account is a fairly common name.

Are These enough to raise the red flags at e bay.

not neccesarily a problem on their own

but when both combined

is the apartment complex the same one as one of your suspended account

is the account in the same (common) name ?

the address could have been burned by other stealthers too

I am thinking you last point as well . Thinking of adding a apt to distinguish it on future stealths.

All my suspended accts were my real address before I discovered stealth.

The eBay accoount name had the common name with a bunch of numbers.

Assumming that you created your accounts correctly (Following the Guide) Id say that it is a Pretty good bet that you started selling too soon and/or your listing may be in a"High" Risk Catagory, try creating an account,,getting about 12-15 Positive feedbacks for purchases, and then sell something TOTALLY Harmless, like NoN - Branded Shoelaces, Socks, underwear, towels, (You get the Idea), and get yourself 10-12 positive feedbacks for sales of items like that first before moving on,,and all of the above should take you NO LESS than 3-4 MONTHS,,,Follow that and you should be ok

did you use the address for all of the accounts and just change the unit?

Did you create them correctly.

They are requiring the ID = common name

each of my stealth accts has a different address. on future accounts if i use an apartment address, i will add a unit # to differentiate it. on this one, i just had the address and no unit number.

If by correctly, you per the e bay stealth book, then yes.

you could be right.
i may have started selling too soon. On my first 2 stealth accounts I started selling immediately and thus far no issues.
my items were a 1 non branded hdmi cable and 1 poker chip.

Could be the HDMI cable since it is still considered electronics

if you are working with different Users technique you need to make sure of that you are doing some steps for example:
1- change register to name
2- change computer name
3- change hard disk volume partition serial number
4- MAC address
5- IP address, "reset your router"

there are more things to do...and I believe you will find them all if you will read the stealth book,

I guess im due to go back and re read stealth. I don't recall 1-3 you mentioned.
