I can't believe it, eB MC067

I got this on my most recent account...

l l <--- This close to writing the most gnarly rebuttal letter to the asshole who looked over my auction and gave me this:

MC067 NOTICE: eBay Listing(s) Removed

Hello Cookie Monster,

The following listing(s) have been removed because of concerns with your account:

COOKIES

All associated fees have been credited to your account. If your account status has changed due to this item removal, we'll send you a separate notice.

Your listing doesn't have a detailed description of the item. Make sure to provide buyers with additional information and clear photos. Also, be sure to use complete sentences and correct spelling and grammar. Buyers looking for the type of items you're selling have very high expectations and if you aren't describing the items well, it can lead to a bad buying experience.

To learn more about our selling practices policy, go to:

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Thanks,

eBay

For real? I looked over the auction again because I saved the format for when I first made it, so I can use it again. There were no spelling errors and any grammatical errors were obviously on purpose. I mean it's a f#$&in' auction not a textbook. The picture was taken in my home made photo setup with very basic white cloth, lights and digital camera. I mean it wasn't professional or anything, but highly on par if not better then most on exhibit if you browsed eB for the same item.

I used 3 sentences to describe the item as well as what was included, shipping terms, all specifications and return policy. I mean people have cell phone pictures uploaded with a single sentence in description and they are selling fine. Same with my other accounts that are selling the exact same item with some that have nearly identical auction formats.

It was such a basic item too, for example a hat. It's a f$%^in hat, here's a picture of it what else do you want to know? Should I describe and explain where and how the cotton was made to make this hat?

It's just ridiculous in my opinion. How can they tell you, the way you want to sell your item is wrong? Eh, guess I just wanted to rant. At least it wasn't a permanent suspension...

it's just to remove your item, not limited your account. So, I think it's ok.

maybe your account manager at Ebay made a mistake when type item number when use tool to remove item.

Try it again and I think it is ok

Was the hat one of the branded ones? IT is likely you just got the wrong e-mail..eB does this a lot - glitch in their system.

I got one of these yesterday too! Smh
I was mad, expected all My items to be sold but instead....

LoopHole 12-08-2012 12:30 PM

Don't even waste your time calling them about it. Not sure if you read my thread with my issue but what they basically do is send you from place to place and you never get the issue resolved....

I called eb with my issue.. they sent me to v*ro so i emailed them. Took literally like 30 emails to get a response..... I was so happy to get a response... until i noticed it was from "no reply @ eb*y" ......

not to mention the horrible spelling!!! There was at least 4 words misspelled in the message i received from them. And it was completely no help. All it said was what was on their site that i already knew.

I'm sure if i keep contacting them all i will ever get is the " just follow the guidelines and you'll be fine" answer i always seem to get.

This is obviously their way of saying we took down your listing because we can. If they took down listings for spelling, grammar, or lack of detail, there would be like 5 auctions left on ebay. I would listen to Loophole and chalk this up in the ebay is crazy column. You have to pick your battles in life and fighting with an irrational entity over a Ludicrous reason is not worth your time.
