When does Eb/PP ask to fax in ID Docs?
 

Is their an advantage in faxing in docs to Eb/PP right when you set up your stealth account?

When would eb/pp every ask for physical documentation?

Not sure about doing it right away cuz I never had. But they suspended one of my stealth accounts within the first month of me opening it asking for ID, invoices, and bank statement/Utility Bill. I sent in all the required docs and they not only lifted my suspension, but doubled my limits :) stoopid ebay

i think only do it when asked . if you call them maybe ask if you send in the documents will it make a difference .

not sure tho as a lot of people say dont call them ,

i just sent my documents and the approved it but didnt raise my limit because i only sent one invoice .

going to send more invoices in on monday .

i am fully legit tho so not sure what you are doing .

Sending in your ID differs between countries.

UK & Australia may need to send ID in at an early part of their selling life.

USA accounts need to send in ID, usually after some transactions have happened on an account.

For USA, I never supply info until asked.
For the other countries it depends on circumstances.

Some users never make accounts that are going to last.

If one uses stealth methods shown here, it is possible to have none of the issues you mention.

It all comes down to careful, discrete preparation and hard work.

Also, there is not set methods in place to be sending in documents.

Timeframe is not the main factor here, the factor as GB said is careful preparation.

The way in which you conduct the creation of the account and maintenance of it could set the ball rolling to either success or failure.

Documents can be asked for at any time

Has anyone ever figured out a good way to conjure up these docs they require?

Is it likely they ask for ID & documents when requesting higher limits?

hi, i'm newbie here. following this forum quite long time, but refuse to reply or comment because of my poor english. but this topic make me interested. if they asked us to fax id/bill/invoice, how to handle this? is it safe to send our id copy to them? because i opened 1 ebay uk acc. so,i tried to list item. but that listing was cancelled, and they asked me to fax or upload related docs to verify.
