Got Lucky with Ebay?
 

Had a buyer from New Zealand who purchased $30 worth of cards back in November, did not receive them and opened a case for each item against me (56 cases in all). Well today I received an email from Ebay saying the cases have been closed and the buyer was refunded. Luckily I messaged ebay tracking number for the cards which only showed they left the country. I thought I was screwed but actually ebay refunded the buyer not me. So they held $30 from my pp until the cases were closed and now its been released. Feeling very luckily that I did not have to pay the buyer like many other sellers had to in the past.

Yes I have had a buyer claim the item was not delivered and they opened a case and after a while of me e-mailing ebay the tracking info showing it was sent out and not returned to me they released my funds and also refunded the buyer themselves.

56 cards and only $30 ??? I would have refunded and counted it a loss, not worth the hassle. Thats why I dont ship outside the USA.

was your buyer an international buyer?

The best thing for me have always been ONLY to ship to the USA.

I never shipped overseas but if the price was right then I would ship it anywhere u want. You could live on the moon and I will ship it to u for the right price and even give u the confirmation number. Just dont complain when it takes a hundred years for u to get it.

Unless you have a Saturn V rocket, in which it should only take 3-4 days. =}

Shippnig to NL with tracking number...that was the smart move

Should state the only tracking number was due to stamps.com which only showed when it left the states. It doesn't show that it made it to NZ or not

What do you mean - the tracking number does not show destination of receipt? Thats not a tracking number - maybe just a purchase receipt number then.

If eB refunded buyer, your eB account does not show that you owe them money?

i think its the customs form number which only shows when it left the country. When the cases were open pp held $30 then when they closed they released them so I didnt have to pay anything to the buyer
