Default Banned from Ebay Selling - Need Advice

Hi, This is my first post on this forum and I am in need of some help.
I used to have an account with ebay which I used for advertising my referal link to a website where you could get free products.
I basically listed an item in the Nintendo Wii category, then detailed in my listing that I was not selling a wii but explained how clicking on this link the user could obtain the item for free. I have had hundreds of people interested and signed up. But these items were often removed by ebay and suspensions given. Eventually my account was banned.
I am now after advice, how I can get back on to ebay, and what is the best way of my posting my listings without getting kicked off again.
Any help that can be offered would be much appreciated.

While I agree its unethical, I don't agree it's a scam. It's on the border line, though and I wouldn't ever do that. But it is a clear example of how eBay buyers just don't read, isn't it?

Before you class something as a scam, maybe you should actually do some research into the topic and find out some more info about my listing. If people are searchin on ebay looking for an item to get cheap. I am adverting that item and giving them details on how to obtain the item for free. So i dont see how that is spam. The referal based scheme is well known and there are some very popular forums on the web based on these sites where many people have recieved thousands£ worth of items. I myself have recieved over 5K worth of items so it is certainly not a scam.

3B:
I do not thin ebay allows that anymore--does it not come under the violation,,
"offering nothing for sale",,or similar??
ANYHOW-- if "I" am out to buy one of my kids a Wii--Im looking to Buy it-pay-get it shipped.. do not have the time for contests/surprises,etc..
Just a thought..

It's a good way to market an affiliate product if you don't get banned, good luck with that!
