So I've noticed on all the new ebay accounts I make that ebay is no longer asking for a birthday. Is there any reason for this. Has anyone else experienced. In all the new paypal ebay accounts ive created stealth there hasnt been one mention of a birthday.

Wish I could help, but my last account was created in April. But others have been mentioning the same thing in other posts lately.

Since there are several members on the forum that never bother to actually read the posts within the thread, expect a lot of Happy Birthday wishes in this one.

Let's see what happens. :)

more worrying about how this will affect documents if we need them. can we just put any birthday on them now.

I created an eb account yesterday - eb.ca....I was asked my birthday...

Nop they don't ask for Birthday now at least here in USA

But they have your information on paypal

Didnt have to put in a birthday on paypal either. So can I just make one up if they ask now?

Just understand that you will have to prove it if you get hit with ID verification

That makes no sense. He meant that he could use any date of birth if they asked him for ID, since PayPal/eBay won't have anything to compare it to, because they never asked for it when signing up...
