Selling limit of 10...what am I doing wrong?

I have 3 eBay seller accounts currently up and running:

Acc 1: Several months old limit of 25 listings per month. (Has been 25 from the out set) (Asks to call them to increase limits)

Acc 2: 1 week old, limit of 10 listings pm (Asks to verify pin through post)

Acc 3: Few days old, limit of 10 listings pm (I have not clicked the request higher limits link on this account yet)

I had a stealth account from last year which had a limit of 100pm from the outset all I did was click the request higher limit link on eBay. This does not seem to work any more, they either want you to call them or verify via the postal verification method.

I can't seem to figure out how they work on these. Its really getting frustrating having such low limits.

Any suggestions?

Just make more accounts and in time the limits will increase

Its easier to ask for an increase after 2-3 months of selling then after a week of making the account

Nothing doing wrong - vary up how you set up your accounts...have to experiment

I am thinking of calling eBay to ask for an increase on the account that is over 3 months old. Will wait until next month first, maybe just maybe they will automatically increase the limit.

I personally NEVER call. Every time you call eBay, you ask them to take a look at your account.

ust0 is right on creation of new unlinked accounts - always a good idea to build and spread.

What happens if you lost the account with outstanding transactions and they open ebay cases?

If like me i have £100 going into the account every few hours...IF i got banned on one day i could easily have lots of cases once banned?

That is the way of e/b buyers, there will be some who will open INR's and SNAD's as soon as they see your account is marked NARU

Guess what?

They will all get there money back and you will need to reimburse p/p

Unless you are selling very high risk stuff I dont see why you cant call them. I have call them several times including to increase limit on stealth accounts and I have had no problems. Well this depends on what you are selling. If you are selling harmless items and know the info on the account there should be no problem.
