This is my gameplan to make a new ebay account
 

Ok so lets get started!

1. I will be getting a DBA for the name section of ebay. Know any cheaper method that works with UPS?

2. I will be using a UPS private mailbox. I will be a getting a 3 month contract. I will signup with my DBA for the UPS mailbox. This UPS mailbox will not show a po box number and that is why it is good to use it with ebay. I will be buying stuff off ebay to build feedback (no cheap items. items of atleast $5.00 value or anything else I may need). Now to pick up the package from UPS I will be using the DBA which I signed up with ebay. Remember without the DBA you will not be able to pickup most packages as they wont fit in the ups box.

3. I will be getting either netzero or earthlink dialup as dialup always changes ip address every session.

4. I will create different windows users on my pc so I will not have to delete cookies.

5. I will be using CCNOW and will sign up with all REAL info. Now to use CCNOW I will first create a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account and verify it and then link it to my ebay account and then I will disable the auto checkout on ebay so people dont pay into the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account. I will then email invoices from ccnow to my buyers. Remember if you dont have 100 feedback you will NOT be able to use a merchant account

6. I will be using gmail as it blocks email tracking

7. I will use gotvmail.com for my telephone forwarding service

8. I will use a simon gift card. I will register it with my real info then go and edit in all the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info from my ebay account.

9. I will use a wamu bank account and signup online or just go to a local branch office. I will use all REAL info when signing up for a bank account. I will use my UPS box as the address.

10. All the info for each account will be noted on excel or in a notebook. Also will note down the ip address each time I login to my ebay account.

So what do you guys think I got this down or am I wrong on something?

Johnxxx, Sounds a good plan. A quick point to also do a backup of all your information. I
was given that recommendation by imjustme so it is worthwhile to do.

Yes will definitely do that :) thanks for the heads up. I have a 1gb memory flash drive will that be good for multiple account info holding?

I think your an expert as you helped me with alot of stuff when I first joined :D

Not that computer savvy! ebayhateluv and I use 'stickies'. I have a whiteboard filled with them but now use excel and 1g flash thingies! Trying to be modern.

I think I'm gonna use a notebook at first :) and try excel later on. I am computer savvy but I never used excel before. I will be backing up my computer data on the flashdrive once I start using excel.

Sounds good to me John, one thing to add is to take your time when setting things up. You don't want to mess up somewhere and get shut down before you start.

Also one question I had was that if the DBA is a business name how would I use it as a name on ebay or for the UPS box? Also I will get a certificate once I register for the DBA?

you will get a corporation certificate and the dba name could be john curtis, inc. and your new ebay name is now john curtis.;)

Ok so what step do you guys recommend I start with first?

i think you should first and most importantly clean your computer

1. delete all ebay software
2. new ip address
3. delete cookies
4. delete flash

that is your foundation.

I am going to make a new user on my pc so I I still need to clear cookies and flash cookies?
Also when I create the new windows user I will install firefox.
I will be using dialup so I don't have to worry about the ip changing.

do you have any ebay software on your pc?
if you don't know i recommend you spend $40.00 and get a new hard-drive
so you won't need to worry about
-ebay software
-cookies
-flash

Well I had turbo lister installed on my pc but I reformatted it about 5 months ago. I haven't installed anything by ebay since. Do I reformat again or do I just buy a new hard drive?
Also how would I get a new ip by dialip if I'm using different windows users for each account?
