iPhone and picture taking and paypal

I take photos on my iPhone and upload or email them to my computer. Do u think this is ok?

Also when adding bank info on PayPal does name play any part. Since I will be using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name.

Don't you have a Camera? If you do take pics with your Iphone and upload to your PC, make sure to strip all the metadata, same goes with a Camera.

Excuse my ignorance, but can you explain "how to strip metadata and why this is important?

Thanks.

I have already worked this out myself with googling it.

I am testing a program called Batch Purifier, it looks pretty good.

However, am I right in thinking that uploading photos to Photobucket will avoid this?

Metadata is data stored inside the picture, with Iphone the metadata includes GPS coordinates of where the picture was taken, and other info. The last thing you need is Ebay being able to see where the picture was taken or ability to see any info.

I don't use Photobucket but a good way to test it is to upload a picture with metadata, then download the picture and see if it retained that data.
