ebay selling allowance

Selling a few items only have a £750 limit

1 item is £400 single item

1 item is a multiple at £50 a pop selling well

but its took me over my limit

can i cancel the £400 item and transfer this allowance to the £50 item which is going much better

or will it not make a difference because i already used my allowance up

Yes, you can cancel £400 item to free up your limitation to sell more £50 items.

You sure about this igotsuspended?

I have had few reports of people who still could not sell more (above the limit) even with the cancellation made. In other terms, the sale still counted towards the monthly limit.

Be very careful of this.

UK sellers & USA sellers have variations on cancelling limits

Doesnt seem to be any real logic to this argument either.
Ive a couple of uk accts i have been tinkering with to maximise the allowances.
One acct allowed me to remove a slower moving high value item and replace with several smaller quicker moving items .
Another acct had no influence when i removed the higher value item .
Limits remained the same .
However they were kind enough to let me relist the higher value item ... nearly brought me to tears the generosity .

What dates do the limits increase?

I found they reset or increase on the 28th of each month.

igotsuspended 12-25-2012 02:43 AM

Yes, I did it several times.
I some times lowered an item to get a little space for other items I wanted to list.
If I lower or cancel a buy it now item, amount available will be increased.
