Selling Limit of 10 Now Only Selling Limit of 5 ?
 

Hi, I had a selling limit of 10 or $1000 but now it has changed to 5 or $500 im not sure why. It is a new account with no feedback. Could you please let me know what I should do ? Thank you

It's probably to do with what you are listing.

e/b must see your items as a higher than average risk hence the reduction in selling limits

Is your paypal verified with a bank and cc?
I noticed that this tends to happen when the paypal account isnt fully verified.

Had this happen to a couple with mine too. PayPal was fully verified. I think it has something to do with it being around Christmas time and they are putting the hammer down on a lot of stuff. Sell to your limits and in 3 months your limits will be up. Another way around it...create more ebay accounts...always a good idea anyways!

@Sarah512, what is the category of your listing? In order to understand if the item is high risk.

It in the Health Beauty/Category.

Many items in this category are considered high risk, it is also a category known to have a high incidence of Ve Ro member activity.

I`ll bet the OP linked 2 new EB accounts to one paypal, hence half the usual selling limit on each account. :brushteeth:

Fairly standard on real accts - people use one for buying and one for selling.

That category gets watched closely by Vero members and if you sell anything they might see a risk in you will get this.

Just move out of that category for a while and sell other items to build it much quicker.

i dont think so :nono: ( the ebay bots have picked up on his selling patteren ) plus new ebay accounts suck

Listen to Sandy_D on this - it is quite high risk and actively monitored by other sellers....
