Selling Xbox point card...

I have some Xbox point card to sell on my new created ebay account.
I listed yesterday and a buyer has won the bid and he emailed me that he just want me to send him the code instead of the plastic card.
I just wonder if i send him the code, do i need to ship the plastic card to him cuz im afraid ebay would ban me because I didn't provide a proper tracking number in these transaction. But the buyer told me he doesn't need the card, and i do not need to ship the card to him.
How should i do?

Give him the code through eBay because he probably wants/needs it ASAP but also tell him that you'll have to mail it anyway or else eBay will suspend you

i know, but i want to save 5 bucks for shipping fee. :(

Didn't you plan to ship it before you even listed it?

5 bucks vs account issues....seems like an easy one.

Those cards are an extremely dangerous game to play with and heavily monitored. I highly suggest you not take any chances and you should have planned all of this out before selling something that you da*n well know causes a world of sh!t for most sellers especially sending digital goods and not the card.

Are you old enough to be using ebay?

You need to pick. Save $5 shipping fee because of a buyer asking or take every step to keep your own account living.

Go read as much as you can about digital items & how to sell them correctly.

That's not hard is it.

Lot of options to consider - for your next sales, plan your profit margins accordingly...and the $5 you pay now will come back in other ways :thumb:

How does that address the problem of the OP selling a digital item?

If he sells such an item incorrectly, he will have no account to use any profit margins.

It doesn't cost $5 to send a gift card via First Class Mail. If you purchase the postage through Ebay and or Paypal like you should a 3oz envelope costs like $1.86.
