hmm, you might have to talk to the person who bought it and have them talk with ebay about this. Or many just call them yourself. Just tell them the truth about your banned ebay account and the gift card. It wont hurt to call them, the ebay account is already banned.
There are times when ebay will let you buy stuff with banned accounts, you just cant sell on it anymore, but buy yes. I have an account with real info that is banned from selling but I buy with it all the time, I buy all of my shipping supplies on it.

so basically I dont know what to do with it since its linked to that account... does anyone know how to get around it or somehow get a unlinked gift card sent to me so I can use it?
