Has ebay raised selling limits for new sellers?
 

I don't know if its something I'm doing or good luck, or maybe ebay is being more lenient. I have opened 3 new account this weekend, all with $1,000 selling limits when previously they have been $500. A couple of weeks before that I opened about 4 or 5 accounts all got $1,000 limits and listed high risk items on all of them within a week of them being opened.

Out of those 5 accounts 3 got limited and I got a email saying to call them within 48 hours, called and they were all reinstated and I was allowed to sell as I wished. I haven't had any problems with those accounts, and I've only had 1 PayPal account that got limited do to a chargeback.

Also when I called to get one of my accounts reinstated the first lady in Asia some where, asked me the random verification questions which I failed, and asked me to send docs, I hung up called back and spoke to a American rep who just told me a word in my description triggerd it too get flag, and to take it out relist and I will be fine.
Every time my account has got suspended and I have been asked to call within 48 hours I've have rarely had an issue getting them reinstated.

Has anybody else had similar success with there seller accounts?

Yes, since late November, may users have been lucky to have similar luck to you.

Yes call center treatment has been weird, to the point that I just hang up and call back until I get someone in America or somebody that gives me the results I want.

What sort of questions did they ask you on the calls?

my calls with them have always been state side and very nice.

I actually got several extremely and not normal limits raised tonight as I am working on accounts printing labels for shipments.

Not normal for sure.

Maybe we will all get some nice increases!!

30th of the month - some limit increases will be going around.

I got another verification email this morning, called them and the guy (Asian dude) lol. Just asked me what I tried to sell, and told me since my Paypal is verified that is an okay for them to reinstate my account. He said I can go and relist any items I want. I have found that once they reinstate you, you can list a lot of items you normally wouldn't be able to but still can't go TOOO CRAZY.
I say 99% of the time when I call my account gets reinstated.

what country are your ebay and paypal account ?
