general questions --thanks for the help!
 

Ok several questions and thanks in advance for the help!

Heres what I’ve done so far:

Created a new user acct on my computer only to be used for ebay and maybe paypal.
(I have yet to decide if I’ll use paypal or a merchant acct)
On that new user acct I have signed up thru aol to get a new ip address – it worked!

Now heres my questions:
1. My new ebay acct – should I use bogus info?
2. for the phone # --can I use my sons cell #? Does it HAVE to be a land line?
3. I have google check out already – will that be a good enough merchant account? OR do I have to do paypal. (google check out will have my real name) is that ok?
4. I have a friend who has an old account. He said I could have it. It has one purchase and one sale. He has negative feedback. Should I take him up on his offer? Also, will I need to change the information or just become him?
5. A po box – is that a good idea?
6. I can easily open a checking/savings acct at my credit union where I have my car loan. Now, if I do go with paypal, they’ll have my same name –that was associated with flagged ebay accts. – thoughts?
7. Buying an account from someone here – won’t I have to change all the personal information?

I’m sure there is more but that’s all I can think of right now.

1) You can't use your real information, so you'll have to either use bogus information, or friend or relative's information.

2) You're in the US, so that's fine.

3) Google Checkout is good, use cartmanager with it to make things easier. Search Cartmanager in the forums for more details.

4) It's probably a waste of time.

5) Depends if you don't want to use bogus information, or friends / relatives address. A PO box is just another option out there, use ups po box if anything though.

6) Paypal can not read details about your bank account other then it's working or not. They can't read your account name.

7) It depends.
