The incredible shrinking eBay

Is it just me or are there much fewer listings on eb these days? I mean I usually do the same searches and used to get like 400 hits now I am getting 175.

If its on your mind its on eBay???? Maybe not.

Could be due to the duplicate listing rule. Yes I know it is being violated alot since it is new, but for sellers that dont want to risk their account they dont duplicate their listings. This eliminates an incredible amount of listings. More doesnt mean better.

I think the fact they have tightened the system of making accounts and lowered seller limits have reduced the number of listings on ebay.
