Tried to list a "name brand" and ebay is asking to verify
 

my info via paypal....confirm bank account etc. My paypal is already confirmed/verified. Was this just a glitch? Ive sold this exact software before.

To be blunt, I have noticed since mid December, ebay appears to have changed its bots pattern. Software that could have been listed OK, now trips the MC999.

In part, it's to do with the ever increasing screws being applied by Gates & his empire to stamp out piracy. That in turns stuff new ebay account

Is this a new account? Usually I find it is a good idea to list safe items for a while on new accounts to age the account

well the account is in its 3rd month. The value of the software is 20$ bucks.:pound:

The thing is, im already verified by paypal. Its still telling me in order to list it I must be verified. Will this go alway after the account is aged?

9 week old account West Coast USA account, fully verified & confirmed. No VBA & this.

I sell software to but usually only in the hundred and up range and no I don't get that ever as long as I sold a lower risk item first.

so maybe it is a glitch :)

eB might have had this brand name amended then if same experience is had by several different users.

Just an update: i just tried to relist this item and it went with no issues :)

Few questions so maybe others can avoid this. Was it on the same account? How long did you wait to re-list and did you do anything differently like change title, picture, description, etc.?

i sell quite a few vero items and some brands they limit each mth others seem fine

yea, same. I went to go sell another item and there that listing was, on the right...finish xxx listing your started or start a new listing?

I said wth and brought the listing up, and low and behold it listed....
