I have had my limits raised without questions, been asked questions and had limits increased even without being able to answer them and been asked for documentation after not been able to answer the questions. |
| Callidus | 01-19-2013 04:49 PM | I might have to try calling on a test account to see how it goes, I would never recommend to call as stealth is usually to keep under the radar and that isnt. |
| stubear7 | 01-19-2013 06:04 PM | i know its a pretty good account to i dont think its worth the risk maybe ill wait till the end of the month, what does your limit go upto after 60 per month? its been a while since i made a fresh one. |
| Mwingrove | 01-19-2013 07:15 PM | 60?? I thought it went from 10 to 100 |

Possibly different in UK though... |
| vogeltron | 01-20-2013 05:57 AM | If you have a stealth account it is a dumb move to contact eBay. I am not in the UK so I don't know as much. But in the U.S. anytime you hit limits and what not just be humble recognize it and do your best to keep your account in the best standing possible. Trying to increase limits on a stealth account requires paperwork. You don't want eBay asking you about that on a stealth account trust me. You are better off just taking your time and working your way into good standing through good feedback and eventually eBay will let you go. |
| they_screwed_me_too | 01-20-2013 08:34 AM | i do it on a regular basis
have your details and a script handy
they want to hear that you are a business
stealth or not makes little difference
if youve done the account set up in the right way then they have no idea your stealth :boink:
and your goals for the future. have supplier info ready to give them
tell them your an established business and are expanding
blow smoke up their backsides
i want my business to thrive with the help of ebay blah blah bla |

So basically if you end up spending and selling a lot on PP you might then get stuck with a PP thats holding a lot of money..Then the 180 day hold hell and even then you arent guaranteed anything. |
| Sandy D | 01-25-2013 01:30 AM | I would not recommend it at all.
Way too many have lost account, got limits lowered etc.
1 maybe out of 50 have been successful.
Not good enough ratio for me to risk it for. |

My stealth is stuck on £3500 , top rated, over 120 days trading.
 |

 | This is why most of the senior members suggest always working on more and more stealth accounts. Never put to much stock in any one account. Keeping making more. Spread your sales out get good feeds, and build trust with eBay. I am with Sandy and the other members that say contacting eBay especially on a stealth account can be very risky. |
