Appealing Feedback

Is it worth appealing feedback?

If you report the buyer every time you get a neutral or negative, are they less likely to reverse the feedback if you appeal it less often?

I didn't know if they had access to how many times you appeal feedback. If they did, then I would think that they would be less likely to reverse the feedback if they saw that you appeal your neutrals and negatives every single time.

Ebay doesn't give two sh*ts honestly. I have tried before, "report a buyer", explained my side and they didn't do anything about the feedback. These were negatives I received for REFUNDING the buyers...they decided to throw a hissy fit even after I explained the circumstances - go figure.

The report buyer function is still new we have no idea what its real intentions are yet. Could be nothing could be something

Seldom ever get a negative but when I do I usually can talk them out of it and get them to have it removed.

Some people you wont budge.

Might be worth a try.

if you're getting anything other than positive feedback, you're doing something wrong:clap:

eBay won't remove the feedback because they don't care. They aren't gonna waste their time of the day to remove the feedback. All the reps say is the same thing over & over.

The best thing to do is issue them a partial refund or full refund by keeping the item then ask them to revise the feedback.

Agree.

The "professional buyers" and nasty buyers who scam sellers who have done everything perfectly can and will still be left a negative at some point.

You can do everything perfectly but you cannot keep every single person happy.

Then again if you are only selling here and there the odds are better.

This seller was left a negative before the item was even paid for or shipped.
