Multi Variation Listings on ebay
 

can someone please teach me how to do this? I have one item that I have multiple colors of..I want one BIN listing with the buyer choosing which color they want. And I have another item that I want to list different quantity options..like they can buy 1, 5, 10, 20, etc..i know this is possible because I see people listing it like this..but I cant figure it out. Thanks

There is a button right below the listing title..."Create Variations"

i honestly think my ebay account is completely retarded. first, i cant find my monthly selling limit tab and now i have nothing that says "create variations" on my sell an item page. is there something i dont have that everyone else does? im not an ebay store, maybe thats why? im so lost..please help

You can't if your account is brand new. You can't even create buy it now listings if it is a new account.

Hmm It might depend. Sometimes the ebay layout is the new one,so the selling with variations feature isn't there. If that is the case, just go to the upper right hand corner where it says " switch to advanced (format?) " <<<<<<<<< I forgot the last word.. sorry. Anyway, just click on the link that says switch and it should bring you the old layout format.

From there.. just type in what you are selling, then category choices should pop up and then a pop up with variations option should appear on your screen. Click on yes, use the variations.

I am not sure how old or new your account is, but there might be some verification of identity that might be required if its brand new account ( also depends on the items you are trying to sell) .. in which case you will have to answer questions from the database online or on the phone if you fail online

It's also category dependent. eBay doesn't all Variation auctions, in most categories.

ok guys..to answer all your reasons why i might not have it...
my account is really old (2001)
i am using the advanced format listing (even switched back to simple format and still nothing)
went through the ebay guide and i dont have the options to create variations

ok now this is really weird...just to try it out i select clothing>shoes (a category that FOR SURE is listed as a multi-variation listing)...on my old account: nothing pops up, i cant even do multi variation on it. now i sign out and sign in with another account i created which is new, select shoes again and the multi variation pop up comes up...W..T..F!!! whats wrong with my old ebay account? how do i fix this?

ok here it is...my old account..i select shoes and click continue..no variation pop up..just goes to the next page for me to start describing the listing. and dont be fooled by that line saying "list multiple variations....click add or remove options" theres nothing there for me to click to add or remove or anything of that sort...

How many feedback does the account have and how many sales have you made on it? Because you have to make a certain amount of sales before being able to list variations

in the last 60 days i have sold 96 times
and why does that even matter though? i created a new account a week ago with 0 feedback, 0 bought, 0 sold, and i am able to create variations with the shoes...but my old 2001 300 fb i cant create them...

yessssssss...dear lord baby jesus..first time calling ebay and they actually solved my problem...i guess i had removed the variations option a while ago and they had to restore it on their system..i have to go through create a template to create variations..thank you

I was going to say call up eBay but yes, you did - that's good. Best way to attack it - yes risky but some things have to be done

I have the problem also, I have had my account since, well 2014. I can't do the variations. Where is Ebay's number?
