Here's what I do...

I use random addresses for the stealth accounts....but when it comes to return address I use my P.O. Box for ALL my packages sent for all my accounts.

I've only had 3 total returns since I started but they have always sent to my P.O. Box address.

shorty_jk 02-14-2013 09:08 PM

surely that will link the ebay accounts as dont you have to input the returns address?

MM78 02-14-2013 09:09 PM

I don't actually put my real address into paypal, but then again I'm a small potato seller so it would alot harder for huge amount of sales.

shorty_jk 02-14-2013 09:20 PM

ok thanks but im a little confused as i thought the returns address went into ebay

can any one else shed some light?

MM78 02-14-2013 09:23 PM

OR, you could just use whatever address is on the stealth account, and if you need a return you just tell the buyer to send to your P.O. Box

zoneout 02-14-2013 09:33 PM

Op are you expecting a lot of returns?

shorty_jk 02-14-2013 09:33 PM

but surely telling the buyers from different accounts via messages will send alarm bells to ebay if my accounts were ever looked into in detail?

MM78 02-14-2013 09:34 PM

What you do is you tell the customer you have a Company that handles your returns...my friend you have to be creative, start thinking outside the box.

yotano211 02-14-2013 11:04 PM

I.say they are being sent to the suppliers warehouse

RETURNS DEPARTMENT

I dont sell anything that I expect to be return.

Dont get many and cannot remember the last one at all it has been that long ago.

mastaflappa 02-14-2013 11:42 PM

My non existent return addresses are all over the US and that's exactly where they go, to a non existent address and returned back to the buyer again haha..

Negative waiting to happen?

mastaflappa 02-14-2013 11:50 PM

You'd be amazed at how many positives I have even with a neg I can still keep selling the same item just the same or just switch to another product, negs don't hurt me that much, anytime I get a neg I just copy and paste it right back at em as a positive, I don't care, I got my system down that's all that matters..

zoneout 02-14-2013 11:54 PM

Are you selling weed with all those happy buyers?

mastaflappa 02-14-2013 11:58 PM

Nah i'm too good for that i keep the weed for myself=D

To reply to your post, I would deal with customers that want to return anything from an ebay sale through personal email.

Contact them through there own email and your own email and not on ebay or the 'respond now tab'.

In your private email to each other you can safely input your return address there and it won't be seen by ebay or in there systems if they ever investigate.

Job done!

Like someone said, think outside the box.

e.g Returns Depot,
PO Box 198.

Stay untraced and you have nothing to worry about.

Quite a few people I have noticed asking why would you be expecting returns....Depends on what the OP is selling for example fashion traders will always have returns.

How many people buy clothes online and it doesn't fit or they don't like it etc.

Same thing. I always use the random address for the accounts. When I ship items print out the labels off ebay, black out the incorrect addy and tape over my PO Box which I use two Biz Names under. For all the stealth accounts. If I do get a return I do tell them to send it back to Biz Name then the PO Box addy. To add a business name to a Post Office box you don't have to show them any paperwork or anything as far as I know. It was quite a few years ago the last time I registered a box. Same principle though you have it dropped shipped or something. If you use a PO Box and having multiple stealth accounts telling them to ship it to a Individual person different than the name on the PayPal or eBay that is sketch.
