How to find old eBay user name
 

Hello,

My friend and I was created couple eBay account couple years back and didn't write down all the information.

One of the account had almost 1K in feedback. We are no longer work together and we haven't touch this account more than 2 years.

We don't remember who is the account owner of this account.

3 years ago, I did changed email/user/password on this account and lost all that information.

The only thing that I remember is the user name before I changed it (cause I ditch into the old email and saw it)

How do I search for the current user if I know the old user 3 years ago?

There's a chance that if the account has been dormant it may have been deleted now by ebay.

You have no old records of any sorts? No old paypal transactions?

I don't, the information was store in the laptop back in 2010 (that was the time I changed the information on the account) but the laptop have been format and restore windows couple time :-(

Just feel bad cause waste of a good account.

Unless you can 'find' the info you may not be missing out of what you think is a good account.

Older accounts are not venerated by ebay any longer.

ebay tends to look at them with much more scrutiny that it does with newer accounts.
An older account can be subjected to MC999 at the first activity should the account have been dormant.

On face value, you have issues even before you find the account.

If you have retained old paypal info, you might get something there.

I ditch into a bunch of old note and found the user name and email. Have not tried to login that account yet. I will take a deep look to it when I got more time.

I hope it works for you as I read down the thread and did not see that you found a note with some info on it.

That's encouraging.

Do bear in mind ebay might have deleted the inactive account. Depends of course.
