What day do limits increase?

As the title says...what day does eBay usually increase limits? I believe its the same for all accounts, but I read somewhere on the 26th while others say on the 1st of every month. Anyone keeping track of this and knows?

Batman 02-28-2013 08:35 AM

1st for me every month

GreenBean 02-28-2013 08:50 AM

Both.

Have a USA from 2009 that goes up 26th

UK is the 1st

Couldn't tell you...I always have to call. When I don't call, I never get bumped.

You get bumped when you max out your item limit, sales limit or both. Usually not within he first 3 months but I've heard it can happen before, I personally don't push it

I never really kept track but I'm pretty sure one account happened on the 28th, another on the 1st

I hope i get an increase tomorrow, fingers crossed

Out of a 75/40k limit, I have done 78/68k....I would say I have maxed out my limit. I go over on both every month and have never had an automatic bump.

Re: What day do limits increase?

Well that is a little different from my point. I am talking about smaller accounts . To get an increase on such a high amount, I think they go on a 3 month average. Has it been 3 months since that increase?

boost 02-28-2013 01:42 PM

No, one month. They say that you can call every 30 days to have the limit bumped....so I call every 30 days. This last time I waited around 45 days, so now my schedule is thrown off. Next time I can call is March 10th. Doubtful that my limits will be bumped automatically tomorrow

I would never call again and build more accounts like these

Pasicel 03-03-2013 11:31 PM

Thinking of calling to bump up my limits, I called last month got an increase from 10/1000
to 100/5000, getting close to 100, i sell only 1 product, and it is a high risk item. i have a 100% feedback, anyone ever have bad experiences calling for a limit increase above 100 items?

I have read somewhere that if you want to go beyond the 100 limit increase, they will request a tax ID?

can someone confirm?

thanks

culexevilman 03-04-2013 12:30 AM

So calling ebay every month and what exactly do you tell them? Just bump me?

hapajenn1 03-04-2013 02:17 AM

for the stealth accts where you have a phone # forwarded to your account to RECIEVE calls but cannot SEND phone calls -- do you still call ebay? the number I call from won't be able to match the phone # i provided to them..

Pasicel 03-04-2013 03:28 AM

I called them on my work phone, and i didn't have a problem

Thanks :) On this new account I had only 9 positive feedbacks on the 26th. Crap. I now have to wait until the 26th for an increase, since it takes at least 10 positive feedbacks to be considered an "established seller".
