What are you using to track your inventory?

What software are you using to track your inventory? Does anyone know of anything automated?

I currently use Inuit POS integrated with Quickbooks, but I still have to do manual inventory on eBay, I wish I had something that would updated my eCommerce site along with eBay while it pulls my inventory data from a database... Sellers dealing with high #s of orders weekly can you chime in?

Thanks :hail:

Channel Advisor is the most well known but outrageously expensive.
I have tried a few that I would not recommend as they did not work well. I use Teapplix for shipping, and they are now offering this service for pretty cheap. I am getting ready to switch over now. I have used them for shipping for many years and I love it. So easy and you can have 16 pp accts on one teapplix acct if you needed something like that;)
They are web based so NO linking.
Here is a link to the plan you are looking for, and it also integrates right into your QB as well.
Hope this helps

Believe it or not, I keep entire inventory in my head. I know exactly how many of every product I have, how many I've sold, etc. Only because I am that OCD about things. Hell, I even know exactly how many of each denomination bill is in my billfold lol

Wow Boost, but how many items are in your mental inventory?

Also it wouldn't work when you want to automate things and have other people do the work for you ;)

Items, 8...quantity, a lot.

And I don't want to automate things and have other people doing the work...more hands on inventory means more eff-ups. I do everything myself (with occasional help from the wife) and tend to keep it that way. I don't trust anyone enough to do some hiring.

best answer in the world.

I use pen and paper. 1 item sold, cross out, 1 item added, add to paper list. Works for me.

Another method I use is I look at the floor where my pile is and just keep taking from the pile till I can see the carpet.
