| | | | | surfrider171 | 03-02-2013 11:36 AM | Crazy Ebay Buyers who's had to deal with Em' You ever have to deal with crazy stalker types?? well one day we came home and a package was sitting on our porch we opened it and it was some jewelry that we sold this woman. Well she had sent it back and then demanded a refund with out any sort of contact at all, and im gonna add that she had the jewelry for 90+ day's prior so naturally I was like thanks for the free bling bi*h but Im NOT giving you your money back she wanted a full refund of her full purchase and the she didn't even send all the stuff back . BIG MISTAKE some how this woman got my girlfriends phone number, started calling us and threatening us with the police trying to stalk her Facebook this woman was a loony bird!! we had 100% positive feedback and excellent costumer service. We contacted feebay and they basically told us not to worry about refunding her. A week later Booom the Account is Suspended. We were threatening the safety of the Ebay community or some stupid stuff like that.. Ebay can suck it! Am I the only one who has encountered this? There are always people trying to get something for free! |
| boost | 03-02-2013 11:49 AM | Just made a post yesterday that you are never safe...buyer can complain at any time and ebay will side with them. Had buyer making crap up to ebay some 50+ days after the transaction saying I would refund them....got a freakin message from ebay rep saying they expect sellers to keep their word and shi.....
Never safe. |
| Sandy D | 03-02-2013 05:34 PM | Everyone has had to deal with crazy and or the pesky "professional buyers".
It is part of life and is just not on ebay, you get them on Amazon, Etsy, craigslist etc. |
| vogeltron | 03-03-2013 03:27 AM | Had that happen a few times for items even when I had a clear no return policy. Rather than go through the hassle of it I just refunded minus my shipping costs. I told them it was clearly stated in the listing and I shouldn't even have to be doing this. Some eBayers are nuts. I just make sure I am them to my master block list so I never deal with them again. |
I had a buyer few years back who want to talk via Skype - I asked about any issues - she said no but wanted to see with whom she was dealing with and was looking for relationship potential. I was bit creeped out hah |

| Pasicel | 03-04-2013 09:20 PM | Lol, not necessarily creepy, but still a crazy eBayer,
just happened to me. Customer purchased 3 of the same products, keep in mind 3 different transactions, so he can leave 3 negative feedbacks.
2 weeks later, he messages me saying these are completely ⊗⊗⊗⊗, bla bla bla, pretty much everything 100% opposite of what he says they are. And he mentions, that he will come to my house for the refund if he has too. ( quite silly as its a stealth account & hes located 1500 miles away )
( these are genuine )
I did a little research, pulled up his feedback he has over 2000 feedback. And it comes out he as well sells the same product as I do. lol!
So yeah, he's playing a game, trying to give me a boot from eBay. So I then, purchased a couple products on the account he claims I'm doing fraud.
Switched to another account, purchased a couple more.
And the game is on.
Lets see how this rolls . |
| Sandy D | 03-05-2013 01:08 AM | Just an quick update. I run items Sunday to Sunday.
Talk about crazy buyers.
Sold an item Sunday night, sent invoice out.
Got up this morning and packed tons of items.
Dropped them off at the PO.
Buyer send message, I dont know what the issue is but my box shows you put a tracking number on it but it has no been scanned yet?
Why not? I paid for priority mail so it would be to me in 2 days.
I am in Florida and they are in Seattle Wa.
Crazy to think priority mail will get across country in 2 days. |

| dharmok | 04-19-2015 12:48 PM | Re: Crazy Ebay Buyers who's had to deal with Em' I'm gonna necrobump this one, kinda surprised there isn't a massive "Crazy eBay buyer" thread in this forum, or maybe I didn't did hard enough anyway.....
My first ever negative feedback came after about a year of selling. Someone bought a childs Star Wars halloween costume from me for $4.69 plus shipping. I was far less organized then and just couldn't find the thing, spent 3 days looking for it. I sent the buyer a message saying so and I would do a full refund, he answered back "That's ok, just send me another one" Since I didn't have another one(No I am not Wal-Mart dude) I let him know I could only refund.
He proceeded to send me a lengthy message about how he was "Sorry I had chosen this route" and "eBay protects against fraud like this" claiming that I was holding the item to make a better profit on it......a $4.69 item. How he was "hoping I would learn my lesson and not engage in these sorts of scams again in the future" he reported me for fraud and left a negative. I was stunned. One of a couple flat out loonies I dealt with. |
| dallis | 04-19-2015 01:51 PM | Re: Crazy Ebay Buyers who's had to deal with Em' Had one a couple of weeks back, bought Saturday night at 1230AM, started email Monday morning at 530 AM, 'My package didn't arrive', "You're a liar and a thief', etc.
Neg and 1's.
What can you do? That's the way the world works these days! Love it and move on. :) |

| dallis | 04-19-2015 08:56 PM | Re: Crazy Ebay Buyers who's had to deal with Em' Offered a refund, explained handling time, offered to upgrade to priority, ( at cost ), she told me I was 'rude' and 'unprofessional' and she would get me closed down.
Just another day in JD's paradise! |

Just another day in JD's paradise! | Sounds like a competitor, even the dumbest ebay buyer don't expect anything the next day. |
Re: Crazy Ebay Buyers who's had to deal with Em' I've had buyers expecting item to be shipped within 5 min of payment with tracking number uploaded - 10 messages within an hour....crazy neurotic |
| just_smile | 04-20-2015 04:21 AM | Re: Crazy Ebay Buyers who's had to deal with Em' A favourite of mine is when they click buy it now but don't pay. 3 or 4 days later they pay. The day after that I get the message "where is my item I bought it 5 days ago?"
I have had this more than once. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:15 AM. | |
