Just wondering why i can't sell on this account?
 

I have had a main ebay account for over 4 years selling goods, but once I tried to sell my used Ray Bans it automatically shut the listing down and gave me a MC019 twice (I re-listed it twice) so I made another account to sell them, with another bank and paypal and now I have sold 3 of the 4 that i have.

Is the MC019 done because I was a business seller before so they automatically shut it down?


I also made another ebay account linked to the first account paypal to see if I could sell the last pair and it also shut down the listing.

Can I not open any other eBay accounts with that paypal?

Slightly confused on how things work :doh:

Ebay is absolutely flooded with counterfeit goods and in the past it has faced legal actions from brand owners for not doing enough to prevent this.
One outcome is that eBay gives brand rights (VERO) owners pretty well complete power to request the removal of any item they consider to infringe their copyrights.
There is no doubt that a number of genuine resales like yours get withdrawn unfairly. You can try appealing, but I cant see anything happening. EBay isn't likely to overturn VERO reports for the sake of a private sellers.
