Shipped Wrong Item And Loss
 
Hello,

A buyer bought an item from me and paid $199.98. Low and behold i shipped him an item that was different and sold to some one else for $30.

Buyer message me "I paid for XXX and got XXXX???????"

I message back,
I am so sorry etc. Keep the XXXX and here is your full refund.

In return "5-Star".

Now, i wonder if the buyer that paid $30 and gets the over $200 retail item will even report it to me?

Cost of Doing Business. (Electronics).

All this could have been avoided on my part. Was in a rush during shipping and had an outsider help package. BUT, I avoid negative and Cases. TRS.

Whats better: Losing $200+ or Closing Over a year account with an LLC?

Losing 200 is an easy answer.

The account is worth far more then 200. Esp with an LLC on it and 1 year old.

We all make mistakes and things can happen so lose the 200 and move on.

try to send a message to the $30 customer. if you can replace their item, even if you have to buy it from someone else say the shipping department messed up. i would not even 'ask', i would send a message stating that the shipping dept realized they criss-crossed your shipment, blah blah. You would like to send a return label to return the item that was sent and offer a future discount of blah blah. sound like a real business and you might reach a real person.

Some times this kind of thing happens. It really sucks some times you get some awesome people who are kind enough to send the thing back. Some time you get the scum of the earth who take it to the pawn shop and laugh about it. I am sorry for your loss. But your loss is their bad Karma.
