Best Match Love Dropping....
 

its been a week now, and it seems my best match is kinda dropping.

unknown reason.. TRS PS account.. etc etc, I did notice looking at my listings from the outside in for some reason most of my listings have the gold TRS thing, and some don't.. :confused:

the only thing i've done diff is really scale up my listings and which resulted in more unsold then normal...

any advice? this is strange

i searched around and can't find anything..

It's supposed to be based on Feedback, sales and allegedly whether or not you offer free postage which to be honest I've never seen any evidence of! Sometimes when I search my listings by a few keywords as opposed to the full name of my product I'm below or higher than my competition dependent on what I've searched, I'm not really sure why. It seems to change quite a bit on some of my items, at least in the category I'm selling in anyway.

Any possibility that the parameters have been refined? new match terms implemented?

will linking terapeak to your account give you any insight into your vanishing traffic?


the more i look at other people, and numbers the less sense it makes.

I remember reading somewhere recently that the parameters are constantly changing since eBay is always "researching" new methods. I think I read this somewhere in Ebays customer support area. Try doing some searches there.

I started reading about their search engine update, and how its fully rolled out in 2013... kinda make sense.

best match will soon be a thing of the past.

wonder we can make SEO on listing on eBay listing. Lol...

yea, for real... we all might need to re think how we do our listings.

this new engine even goes into your messages to see how you comm back and forth with your customers...also goes into your feedback to see what they say about you.... etc etc etc.

Actually it is possible to manipulable search using source code manipulation. :)

can they detect and slap you for it?

i've already had my run in for doing a little EXTRA for results... won't go there again. :doh:

Yeah I am sure they can detect it. However I believe the only way you will get flagged is by another seller.
