We're pleased to let you know that we've increased your selling limits as a result of your recent positive selling performance.
You can now sell up to 2080 items and up to $41,200.00 a month, whichever comes first.

Thanks for being a great seller. We wish you all the best on eBay.

I might hit the limits on the backup account but I don't think I can get anywhere near them on the MAIN account.....LOL

Both accounts are powerseller top rated accounts with feedback in the 1,000's.
Both are also over 275 days old.

You gota love randomness from eBay..........

SaiJin 03-12-2013 08:34 PM

0.o what the....

Futuremogul888 03-12-2013 09:03 PM

Don't sell yourself short, Here We Go Again; You'll reach 29480/721,400 limit one day (of course while still being smart about it). Time to get yourself a 50,000 sq Ft warehouse and staff.

Also I doubt there is anything random about limit increases.

Pasicel 03-12-2013 09:24 PM

Nice, So did I.. In class, i logged into eBay on my phone.. Went to messages and saw a message from eBay. I thought it was toast. Came out that my Limits were increased from 100/5000 to 200/10000.

Sandy D 03-12-2013 09:39 PM

Congrats to the both of you!

Awesome.

parsimonious1 03-12-2013 09:53 PM

Mine was increase from 140 items/$6400, to 500 items/ $25K items........... 1 other acct, did the same; and another up to $15K

css1 03-12-2013 10:06 PM

Are these business accounts with EIN information?

BTW.. congrats lol

newjerseymax 03-12-2013 11:40 PM

Yea I got 7400 / $171,000 today

I was hoping for the 10/1000 to get raises though....

kenshintr 03-13-2013 12:10 AM

All three of my accounts are still at 10/1000 :( it's over 4 months old, I guess because I only have 6-12 feedbacks on 3 accounts hence no raise yet. Wish they would at least raise the $ limits.

yotano211 03-13-2013 12:38 AM

Yea ebay is strange, I got raised from 10/1k to 100/5k some days ago. 2 months old account with 14 feedback.

imjustme 03-13-2013 12:40 AM

Guess what? I just wanted to post the same thing. I also got that email yesterday but on an account with just 30 items sold and 11 positive feedback:

Just noticed this as well today with the MC999 selling limit on several accounts. I also never received increases during this time of the month until these MC999 increases come about. Nothing to complain about when mc999 is associated with limit increase but lets see if these increases are associated with the autos at the end/beginning of the month. In my eyes alot of new changes recently have been noticed that are both pros and cons.

Glad to hear others are getting healthy increases!!!

yotano211 03-13-2013 12:56 AM

I just check the email address of that account, the 100/5k one, and it got increased again to 200/10k today. I have never received any kind of email of this type. I am going to check every other account that I have.

Wow, within a few days it went from 10/1k to 200/10k.

Batman 03-13-2013 01:15 AM

looks like americans are all getting increases today?

Toolman89 03-13-2013 03:16 AM

What's the point of having limits once you get to those types of totals?

hapajenn1 03-13-2013 03:31 AM

i didnt get an increase on mine ..
did you have to email ebay to receive those 2 letters, or did it randomly email to you?>

Bunneh 03-13-2013 04:50 AM

take it there are no UK success stories like these :juggle:

2750/$105,600
840/$25,200
860/$43,600

imjustme 03-13-2013 12:38 PM

Same here. I felt a mix of soul shocking lightning, ice cold avalanche and stopping heartbeat when I saw MC999.

:eek::doh::shocked:

Sandy D 03-13-2013 01:43 PM

I signed into one of my sellers account this morning to see a nice raise in the limits.

Odd this is happening in the middle of the month.

Makes me wonder what they are up to next.

US accounts, so I was mad that I didn't get any limit raise, went about to create two more stealth accounts today and both have the limit of 100/5000 so I feel a little better. Just list a few low $ on both new account :D

Speeder33 03-13-2013 09:53 PM

man, wish i could get limit raises like these, good job guys

imjustme 03-14-2013 01:43 PM

It's not just US accounts. I got limits raised like the above on the same day on accounts from Asia as well.

Laritha 03-14-2013 02:27 PM

Whats the use of having such high limits if you have to provided SSN or EIN once you get near $20K in sales?

Same here...i got a 100/5000 limit raise a few days ago on one of my accounts (i have 13 accounts)..i did not get no emails...i just happened to look at my Seller Dashboard ratings..then went back to my main page and the limits were raised...weird.

Also that same day..ebay and paypal totally removed all holds on items i sell now..so the second i sell an item..i can immediately withdrawal it to my checking account if i wanted too...but i dont...i just let it save up a bit first just in case any unsatisfied customers....but i do send a little bit to my bank accounts...just not most of it...most of it keep for a a bit in PP.

I do a withdraw every morning 7 days a week.
I leave around $200 in the account to deal with returns.
Works out great.

Dude its so easy to get a EIN, attach it to paypal and no more worries.

pichetpipit 03-15-2013 08:02 PM

eBay do increase my selling limit often but the thing strange is i never get message like you get which telling you that your selling limit had been increase.

Faline 03-16-2013 06:57 AM

My account got increased to 200/10k with the same email, but I don't know if they will suspend it later :(.
Guess it's not hurt to give it a try :D

I have been getting increases every month.

My account is now around 6 months old and I have a selling limit of 1200/£8000 Selling limit increased from 600/£4000 this month. (I sell low priced items)

I have been calling them up every month for the past 3 months, and have had them increase it every time.

low priced....so low risk items as well?

that method may not work for everybody on here as not everybody sells low risk

how did the phone conversation go as in what did they ask you and stuff?

brownsauce215 03-18-2013 03:17 PM

my limits also raise. no emails received. 17 month old accounts. roughly 25 + feedbacks (100%). from 10/$1k to 25/$2.5k <--- Ballin' !! lol

I have 4 accounts total and so far, this is the only one that's increased. The other 3, same age, almost same feedback, but no limit raise :(

---

Are you people buying $.99 stuff for feedback with aged accounts as well? All my feedbacks been from selling. I would love to be one of those 2500/$1000000000 seller one day lol

coco 03-18-2013 09:46 PM

One day you will .Just be patient.
My story , of all my accounts I have 2 now with 100/$5000 increases.I still have to check other ones .I have some with 20/1400 and 20/1800.
Still I wanted to come check here , because I really never get increases. But it seems like they (ebay ) just realized that , they make way less money by limiting everybody.
By just making this smart business decision , they just bumped their revenue in the millions.ASAT(as simple as that)
Also they are taking advantage on Amazon's restrictions on sellers. And weather they like it or not , WE GOTTA SELL.

nebuspp 03-19-2013 03:55 PM

My first stealth account...I opened it earlier this month. Initial limits 10/$1000...after having a nice conversation with eBay reps, got em raised to ***/$**,**** :-)

Yes, it is 100% stealth. They couldn't verify any of my info. No credit card added. Business verified PayPal. Business eBay account. ZERO items sold, just 1 item listed.

Its all about the talk... :-)

exxomscp 03-20-2013 04:10 PM

They used to just take down / limit the accounts at this interval for "security reasons", but instead this time they've raised limits on most of my accounts.

Either the system is now making this process automated, or there are some other developments going on..
