| anthony | 03-15-2013 09:51 AM | Call Ebay for MC999 Hi
I created stealth ebay seller account with f a k e information ( name, address, .. )
I did list 1 item. Next day I got MC999. Ebay asked me give them a call.
My question is : my information was f a k e, if they ask me some questions related to public record, how can I answer ? Thanks. |
| ripcitytix | 03-15-2013 10:04 AM | they will not always ask questions, depends on the rep u get. |
| danshan | 03-15-2013 11:17 AM | Where does fleabay get their pulbic record info or I guess where could we get this so called public record info even if I have to pay per stealth I create? |
| pichetpipit | 03-15-2013 07:11 PM | It depends but this case they might ask you for documents to verified the account. Avoid listing something immediately after create account it will flag your account. |
| astralman | 03-15-2013 08:12 PM | Let us know what they said. |
| Sandy D | 03-15-2013 09:59 PM | What did you list OP?
What category?
Could have been the problem. |

The database is only available for corporations like Financial institutions, insurance companies and also law enforcement agencies. Accurint has all of your personal information like SSN, DOB, addresses, property and vehicle registrations, and much more. Individuals can however use a background check services like Been Verified to look up public information, they are not as detailed as Accurint and you won't get people's SSN, but is good enough to answer those public record questions. You only need to get 3/4 right |
| slapped | 03-15-2013 10:07 PM | Doesnt really matter what you list, it is more a case of how quickly you list after Seller account creation,,I have found that the longer you wait to list, the more you BUY (Especially Items over $10.00), the more BUYING feed back you get, the LESS likely of getting a request to call, |

I wont start buying until a month after seller account creation |
| maya9966 | 03-16-2013 10:18 PM | if you call they will ask for documents and if you dont they will suspend your account.both things happened with my two stealth asccount. |
| vogeltron | 03-19-2013 05:26 AM | Anyone who lists without getting several feedback as a buyer on a stealth account is asking for it. I use Simon Gift Cards. $20 on each you got the $1.95 or whatever to confirm the PayPal. Other than that use it to purchase so china usb cords or cheap stuff to get some feedback. Once you get at least a few feeds than list on eBay. Listing on eBay with Zero feedback is a dumb move. Also when you do sell don't be a moron and list high priced items. Sell some low price household goods and wait to get some good feedback. Anyone too stupid to sell slow and take the precautions necessary to build trust with eBay deserves what they get. |
| incniu | 03-19-2013 01:14 PM | just call.... no problem.. keep changing for another rep if one is difficult to deal with.
Who can wait to sell? Always start to sell ASAP..
Also, by calling, you account will be verified .
Question: does ebay record your voice and everything every time you call??? |
| HunterStudios | 03-19-2013 07:37 PM | I do it the way incniu suggested. I list as soon as the account is created and its almost always is fine. If I do get a notice, I call them and either talk to the rep or verify the account. If they say I got the questions wrong, I argue until they switch reps or just get too frustrated and give me full access again.
I have even called under female names (I am a guy, with a deep voice) and they usually don't say anything about that either. Only once have they asked why my voice was so deep if I was "Elizabeth". I acted extremely offended and started yelling and asking for their manager and amazingly they immediately un-suspended my account and hung up haha. |
| danshan | 03-19-2013 08:59 PM | By calling your account is verified what does that mean? |

You can also list expensive items and even some high risk.
There are methods involved that keep you under the radar. |

When they asked why I have deep voice I tell them I am chain smoker. They say, OK you good 2 go. |

For those of you that called during the day, do you speak to people in the USA, an english person? When i made my call, the lady was nice and helped me out. Wondering if there is a better time to call if you do? |

Wondering if there is a better time to call if you do? | That's a fantastic question. I call often, and get Philippines and American reps, but I don't keep note of time, so I don't have an answer for the "best time" to call. However, I really never have any issues with the US reps, in fact, sometimes the lack of a language barrier can be helpful. They are more willing to color outside the lines, and more comfortable with their position of authority than the Philippines reps. Probably because they could easily work in another call center if they needed to. |

I remember every time I called they were in asian with bad english | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:38 PM. | |
