I just got this message from a buyer last night.....

"hi. Is the ????? genuine? i bought a sony mdr from ebay for $27 sony.com its $100 turned out to be a knock off. same with creative ep630 ebay $10 creative.com its $40 will they last me at least a year? thanks"


This is prime example of somebody not being that wise. First, you would have to be very suspect of buying any item that retails for over $100, for only $27. But then, this buyer turned around and bought another item a 1/4 of retail price....

Are buyers really this ignorant, for lack of a better term. I compare this to buying a $40,000 BMW for $10,000....You gota think something is not quite right.....

haha. It's that mentality of the buyer thinking they can score one over the seller. In fact their questions are similar to some of the often repeated questions here. As Homer might say 'Duh!'
I notice they seem to do this on the weekends and pester with their stupidity.

Good observation..this message came in about 1:00 AM last night...I have so many stories about once a week in the middle of the night, somebody writes the most dumbfounding messages....Its like "Don't Drink and Type...."

I see Aspkin is re-looking at the forum categories. We need one category for "Buyer Horror Stories...."
