yea aspkin your right. such a pity someone didnt give ebay a run for there money and have a better site/ amaze at that, as there are sum very techy people out there, or maybe they all work for ebay now. i wonder sometimes how ebay managed to corner the whole thingy . as no other site come near there popularity for buying and selling. Guess with the power they have come responsability. but they do treat there users with such outrageose contempt. bit like big brother, seems like they need a lesson in good manners.

I've always said that eBay has gotten too big. Like all things in nature, if they get too big, they eventually collapse because they're not manageable anymore.

i read ebays fighting the fine as they actualy believe that the case does not leave buyers with a choice . it denys human rights. ebays been boxed into a corner and there scared of futher huge fines. European laws on choice are quite strict. and there are some sellers with genuine items to sell , but there prevented from offering a choice to a buyer. Personaly i think ( and its only my opinion ) they whole matter is politics.

well yes it is politics but are you allowed to sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods? Answer is no, simple as. Ebay have allowed the sales. They should have something where by sellers should have to mail in their receipts/invoices which is then passed to the vero member to say yes he is a seller of ours then added to a list.

I know this would take time but prevents it.

It's like ISP's (Internet Service Providers) being fined by music companies because their customers download copyrighted music without permission. eBay isn't at fault in the LV case, the sellers are. But eBay is getting punished. Not right, in my opinion.

It's both imho

isp's and customers get punished. As you know as of late in the UK the isp's have been sending letters out and terminating accounts etc etc

yea there are a lot of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods on ebay. maybe its time to clean it up. maybe thats what there doing. wonder what affect that will have on the chinese . must be a lot of trade for them. and employs thousands. who would have no work at all. americas fed up with the chinese flooding the markets with cheap designer goods. but i read the chinese told them to go blow a trumpet. i think the chinese cant understsand what the fuss is about as they have a different culture and it does not compute with them.

What ebay should do is this. Have every seller on ebay send the goods they've sold on their site directly to their headquarters in CA and where they take 24 hours to inspect each one and send it off to the buyer.

Well me personally I don't want ebay to die off. I want it to live so I can make my money. People in reality we need ebay because without it we would loose a significant amount of our income.

problem is, if your selling legit stuff you can't make any money on other sites because they are flooded with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ straight from china. I need ebay to make any money but they need to pull there heads out before they sink their ship.

I don't believe this to be the case. I see Ecrater or some form of Google base/checkout/Ecrater/other site combo being the alternative. Ioffer runs way to slow to take over for ebay, due to HTML bloat in the listings I believe.
