0/$0 Limits

So I've made my fair share of Stealths but today I made a new stealth and got the following limits...

http://i48.tinypic.com/11ieag1.jpg

Has anyone got an idea on this? perhaps I should just move on...

slim jim 03-21-2013 03:26 PM

i think it's a glitch. could be they don't like something, i think someone else had this problem. i would personally just move on, or you could mess around and try to verify the account.

MM78 03-21-2013 03:26 PM

Yeah I CC verified it, haven't bank verified it.

GreenGhost 03-21-2013 03:26 PM

call em up bro :)

MM78 03-21-2013 03:27 PM

No Thanks!

you could try the bank verify if you want and if still nothing, try the request higher limits and see what happens

Sandy D 03-21-2013 04:25 PM

If he does this they will ask him to either call or answer some questions.

Ebay - MM what color is your eyes according to your drivers license?

MM - Hell I dont know, what do you think?

Might be a nice test account but this is very odd.

I think you have been zero'd out MM.

:yar:

ZoonVoo 03-21-2013 05:14 PM

I think you did not see this before because you have been doing good stealth Ebay accounts, this zero limit means that they linked you to anther suspended account, or you used the same Address ,phone number, or the worst VCC ever, anyways, this account is gone, Normally when you do a new account you get 10/1000 that's like 80%, 10% you get 50/5000 and 10% higher than this, but for the 80 % when you try to raise your limit, and you will go through security question via Ebay website "not on the phone" then all your info is correct and they want to make sure that you are the same person., If they will ONLY give you phone call option to raise the limit then they know that your information is correct but you are using Voip phone number and Ebay and paypal easily can check that, or the name is not matching the address...etc

Then you're just going to have to deal with it.

yotano211 03-21-2013 05:57 PM

I have had 1 of these types of accounts about 6 months ago, I just left it alone and moved on. My was only CC verified with paypal and I attached it to eBay. I left both alone and deleted the User Account on the laptop.

MM78 03-21-2013 06:14 PM

Yeah, I've already deleted the account off my computer! lol....

No need to cry over spilled accounts!

GreenBean 03-21-2013 06:48 PM

Did you double check to see if there was any links etc etc.

GreenBean 03-21-2013 06:56 PM

Sorry? Who was that addressed to?

GreenBean posted.

Hercules 03-23-2013 09:47 AM

That happened to me once and I kept selling (0/0) limits. I can't tell you which one now (no memory) but the limits changed later for the better.

Futuremogul888 03-23-2013 10:31 AM

It is not a glitch. It happens because the system determines the account is a high security risk. What is the main culprit of this: a non-fully-verified paypal account. No SS # and no bank account screams shady to ebay. For $15.00 it is just not worth it to skip the VBA step.

THERE is your answer MM78 - I wrote in an earlier thread that I had the SAME problem but then verified the pp with bank and bam! 10/1000 limit

Not good practise to add banks without 5 successful sales and feedbacks :typing:

New accounts these days get limited for no reason...

Futuremogul888 03-23-2013 11:08 AM

That is why you add a one time use VBA (not your actual bank account), Mutant.

Speeder33 03-23-2013 04:53 PM

I dont think its worth $15 per account when you rarely have this problem, this is probably caused by some sort of link

Sandy D 03-23-2013 07:10 PM

I have tested account without using a bank and only cc verified and it was fine.

Also did it the other way around and it was fine.

Just tested them to see and I dont believe it is it.

Has to be some other reason or a glitch.

MM could be the vcc maybe?

mobilecontractsuk 03-24-2013 02:06 PM

I had something similar with one of my accounts. I had a limit of 0 items and £500. I contacted ebsy via the live help and within a few days my items limit changed to 10 items.

bruckshut 03-24-2013 10:56 PM

when this happened to me , i called them up,it was because they said another account (that i did own) had some information that was exactly the same (not sure what it was ) , then they requested for identification to change the limit, it seemed like it was automated by their system.

Hercules 03-25-2013 01:07 AM

^^^When you call they no nothing. They play like they do but they haven't a clue. The computers are programmed in secret so no one can get over...not even employee's with some side action of their own.

I have a bunch of accts that have no banks but CC cards. They sell fine. They will not raise your selling limits until PP is fully verified though.

is this always the case? i thought paypal would stilll lift limits even if your paypal has no bank

Futuremogul888 03-25-2013 05:20 AM

The bottom line is that Ebay's algorithm that determines what they perceive to be trust is what determines selling limits. Anyone who has ever received an increase can trace it back to playing Ebay's game to their liking. While we don't know for certainty that a lack of VBA is what causes this issue, we know that it can't be helping your trust score with Ebay. It is fair to make a deduction that a lack of VBA is at least a contributing factor to this because no one has ever reported this problem with a fully verified Paypal account.

Hercules 03-25-2013 08:58 AM

^^^that's all true. But if you know your market well you can get away with it. If you just testing it's not a good idea. But then even with fully verified accts, they go down for any reason at all in the beginning.... That's a big waste of bank accts in my opinion.

In my experience the limits go up way slower without a bank. It all depends on anything.

rsot 03-25-2013 03:02 PM

Still good policy to verify the pp BEFORE beginning sales.

Rubbish. Stop talking nonsense.

verifying and confirming a paypal account opens the door to earlier successful selling.

If that's your method avoid spreading the idiocy of it.

OP is in the USA. There are even better options than the UK to have a bank account.

:boink:

balzac 03-26-2013 07:31 AM

Well I called few times because of this limitation. All what rep said is that their system done that because it wasn't able to verify some details on the account. Nothing more as always. And few times they fixed this for me. It depends from rep who answered the call.
