Too many refunds in one day (unlucky streak)
 
Hey guys i have a question, if i refund like 4-5 customers in 1 day (never happens but it happend on one of my accounts) does ebay paypal...look at that, can i lose my account. for example, someone bought 2 items and the total was 90 dollars, 1 day later (before i dropped off the package) he messages me and tells me he bought em for a friend and his friend changed his mind. So i told him i can void the label and refund him no problem. so, my main point is should i be concerned?

Without really knowing, I think a logical guess would be a 5% or more refund rate per month would be considered high and might be looked at.

Like I said though, that is just a guess. :)

Short answer from experience: Yes it does raise a big red flag. You're likely to get limited from paypal. I had a situation where I had to refund several customers last year and I lost that account. I'm not positive the refunds are what did me in, but I suspect it.

same thing happened to me, account was not suspended but I was given more limits than before so good luck!

All depends on the volume you sell.. If you sell a lot 4-5 refunds is NOTHING. Now if you only sell a few items then that is problematic

Try not to issue all of them the same day. I usually let them sit until the buyer sends me a message then just blame it on PayPal and refund.

Normally those kind of situations. I just say the package was already sent if I printed the label. I don't need to deal with those wishy washy buyers. If they are complaining about something then do refund. Buyers remorse is not something I personally deal with unless they bitch like hell. But then again most my items it is clearly state sale is final.
