Appealing a case?

Long story short, I sold a ps3 controller and my buyer opened a case on ebay saying he never received the item. I immediately sent him another one and eBay decided to close the case in his favor. And now, the tracking id shows the item's been delivered to the buyer.

I just wanna know if it'd be a complete waste of time for me to appeal this case? This account's already been suspended and I really don't wanna reimburse them. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

For sure I would appeal it. If the tracking shows delivered you will win an appeal.

Heck no.

APPEAL. You have tracking.

Fight them. Fight for your rights.

Get onto ebay. Make them aware of this.

Do it.

I had experience on ebay UK with appeling three times... All of them were with same situation when tracking was available...two cases was sucessful and i got my money back, but third was declined with strange argument - " your tracking info contains only delivery address, but no name of reciever " ....

So anyway, it is worth to try.

make sure you look up the delivery office on google to see what town it is in, as the more information they harder it is for them to decline the appeal, because most of the time the delivery office name is not the same on the buyers address and payapl/ebay dont bother checking the location.

ebay seems to always want to screw the seller, but you did the right thing and I don't believe you should be punished for that

fight it all the way

Alright thanks guys. The buyer's name and address isn't mentioned on the official tracking website. It just says "delivered". :S I hope they'll accept my appeal...

Where is the buyer located? His pp was verified?

Did you sell to a buyer with a verified paypal?

Was there anything unusual about the buyer's account that you noticed?

Yes. He has a verified Paypal. Is that a bad thing?

Not a bad thing but did the address match exactly what was on the records?

Meaning having a verified shipping address etc?

Blackbriarshaw 04-09-2013 02:56 PM

Yes, I believe he has a verified shipping address. Will that change the outcome of the appeal?

rsot 04-09-2013 03:25 PM

Verified shipping address increases your chance of being protected as a seller
