Adding an eBay account to Inkfrog?

I've signed up for Inkfrog. It now wants me to add an account but wants to redirect me to eBay to do so.

Will I be redirected every time I try to use Inkfrog to list items?

Do I need to sign into the user account I use for that eBay and change my ip every time to be able to use Inkfrog, or do I just sign in the first time?

Sorta confused here.

Isn't the point of using Inkfrog for convenience? Doesn't seem too convenient if I have to sign into the User account and change my ip every time I want to use it, kinda defeats the purpose.

Am I missing something here?

To get the token from ebay this process is necessary. It only happens once, stay stealth during this process. Once it is done and u only need to login into ink frog u can do as u please

Also remember while going over the different pages in inkfrog or auctiva, that there are links that will bring you to you item on auction. Make sure you do not click on the link or it will take you to eb

Also remember: DO NOT use the same images, titles, descriptions and listing profiles across different accounts within inkfrog.

I would advise not to link different accounts to 1 inkfrog regardless of using different info.

The URL of the inkfrog images will all contain the same single inkfrog username. Click on the images and you'll see what I mean.

Old thread, but looks like ink frog can get linked I gather? Something about images and url links.

You should ideally use all different images per account. It is a terrible idea to host pics and share same identical pics across multiple accounts. For any image host or even uploaded pics that you cleaned.

That's what I figured, never actually used any of these software before, just reading and rereading watching every step of the way. So far, I gather to add one of your stealths, go to that stealth Windows/Mac user account, login to auctiva, reply manager, ship station or whatever, then login to your eBay acct thru there portal? And this won't cause a link as long as u use a different ip? Rinse and repeat for like 100 accounts? Then answer all emails, ship etc? Thx.

Re: Adding an eBay account to Inkfrog?

This is true. IF uses your registered IF username to create image folder when you use the IF Images Uploader to set images into the listing inside. So they're like: inkfrog.com/blabla/USERNAME1/etc/image25020.jpg

When you link multiple eB accs to the same IF account (username) and try to attach images to the description - it will be like: inkfrog.com/blabla/USERNAME1/etc/something52305203uhhh.jpg.

And it's super easy using the URL to be linked those multiple eB accs.

This is known for over 3 years or maybe even more. Check out the other thread the second post.

So can you upload the images manually without it hosting on ink frog or auctiva? Sorry fellow stealthers, never interacted with these before.

On ship station, you never touch anything on your accounts. They pull data and send tracking. You never log into an account with shipstation.

I handle my questions all from email and ship almost exclusively from shipstation now.

Exactly, right. Spreading over multiple free image hostings.

…or own VPS/webhosting and the images placed on each separately purchased (from different hosts) web-based VPS/hosting.

Ok, thanks for this. Might as well create a free hosting site while you create a new stealth. However, can you just upload the pictures thru auctiva/inkfrog without the web hosting?

Does auctiva or ink frog work with both Amazon and eBay? My orders are getting a little much now (good thing), just want to pick one that can integrate both. I'm probably going to setup something tonight, for sure. The ship station sounds awesome, as well as reply manager. Thx.

"However, can you just upload the pictures thru auctiva/inkfrog without the web hosting? " - you can, however when you use multiple eB accs in ONE inkfrog acc - the uploaded images will be in ONE folder with the same name as your inkfrog username. Which is not safe and good.

The solution is either using a separate inkfrog accs per each eB acc or using inkfrog with multiple eB accs but NEVER to upload any image using the integrated IF Image Uploader, only using 3rd party image free hosting sites. Or into your own webhosting/vps some simple php-based form to upload images directly, or uploading them through an FTP client, both ways work (of course for each eB acc - using a separate webhosting/vps purchased from a totally different companies/sites).

IF have integrated Message system of course. But no AZ integration there.

Re: Adding an eBay account to Inkfrog?

I guess the solution would probably to use a free web hosting image acct per user account, that to link all in one ink frog/auctiva acct. I have like over 100 accounts so each ink frog plus whatever it is per month doesn't sound feasible. Have any recommendations for a platform that uses both Amazon and eBay? Thx.
