Did you mean to sell to international sellers? If not then your going to have to figure something out.

chrisfo 04-18-2013 05:24 PM

politely explain to the buyer that you did not mean to let international buyers bid on your item and that the cost of postage would exceed the cost he as paid, if he would like to pay extra to cover the cost of postage then this is up to him.

albertldee 04-18-2013 06:37 PM

yes international

vogeltron 04-18-2013 06:38 PM

Never, had a problem shipping to Denmark. But yea I would tell them the real price to send the item. Then go into you settings and make sure to block all international buyers or countries you do not want to ship to.

MM78 04-18-2013 08:17 PM

The problem is going to be if he didn't bother to set International shipping charges, he's going to either have too cancel the order or eat the shipping cost.

Yes and wont do it again.

I stopped selling internationally from the USA because so many issues with tracking.

Not worth the hassle to me.

What also needs to happen is any future listings are set up to exclude international buyers.

If this is the OP's damaged account which he mentioned in another thread, he must be careful to attempt to reduce future problems.
Needs revision of listings as a first step.

Refund and set real shippingcosts for non U.S buyers. Also be aware of the potential neg feedback if the buyer get pissed

If the item costs more to ship than it ends for I usually go in and block all international buyers. If you get a case you lose your azz on these type of deals. Not worth it.

Yes, I've sold to Denmark. A $1.75 item, that he paid over $20 in shipping for. I sell all over the world, and I'm amazed at what these people pay in shipping.

I ship everything USPS....tracking is simple with USPS.

a.v.limited 04-24-2013 01:43 PM

yes i sell to denmark with no issues

only dodgy countries are italy and sometimes brazil

Ebayorbust 04-24-2013 02:03 PM

Bare in mind shipping issues vary depending on the country of origin. UK to Denmark maybe completely different from US to Denmark as, for example, there is no customs declarations required within the EU.

I have sold items to Denmark, and for a few of them the shipping was more than the item itself.

Did you leave your auction open to international bidders?

Did you specify in your auction the shipping rates.

I set some of my auctions free shipping domestic and international buyers pay shipping fees.
