Will eBay ever re-instate all DSR suspended account?

As we all know, theres thousands upon thousands of really good sellers on eBay which have been taken down unfairly due to their biased DSR rating system.

Why eBay are trying to protect buyers from sellers with 99% - 100% feedback but just a small amount of low DSR scores is mind boggling!

So does anyone think that, one day, everyone who lost their accounts due to the DSR rating system will one day wake up and see their account re-instated. Maybe a new top dog at eBay will change things, maybe they will realise they are losing profit or maybe the next contender will start stealing their customers so eBay will re-instate accounts just to get their old customers back.

I know this doesnt matter to Stealthers, and im sure going Stealth has worked out better than being legit... But it would be good to hear peoples thoughts on this, considering this is why most have lost their accounts!

Only if ebay has a brain transplant AND gets a heart.

ebay would have to have a return to putting the seller(s) ahead of the buyer.

Dont hold your breath for that to happen.

I know not to hold my breath... This isnt going to happen anytime soon, thats even if it ever happens at all :)

The occasional low DSR suspended account does come back to life.

It happens more in the UK than USA too.

Hassle is to try to get ebay to listen to the info regarding the reasons.

I doubt it. I would depend more on them finding new reasons to screw over sellers than reinstating ones they have already screwed.

Depends on how bad they were.

Low percentage will ever be given the chance to state your case as to the reasons but like Dallas stated, if they did this then they will have a million others waiting in line they hammered in the past.

What is the suspension message? If it says that the account is "full restricted" due to low DSR's, then yes it will be reinstated as soon as the low DSR's drop off, which can take up to 12 months.

it could happen, but it is rare, i wouldn't hold my breath as people are saying

but i also wouldn't delete the account info from my computer, id probably look at it in a year and see if it was magically fixed

Good advice.

Never delete an account yourself. Let ebay do that.

I think checking is a good idea. Bottom line is ebay will control still.
